Ren Uechi studied at UC Berkeley in the Department of Applied Mathematics. He worked as a software engineer at some startups and as an associate at a VC firm that invests in early stage startups. In 2020, he founded Solafune, Inc. a satellite data analysis startup with the mission “Hack The Planet.” In 2021, Solafune announced a collaboration with Microsoft and, with Stability AI in 2023. Awards; Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2023, Deep Tech Venture of the Year 2023.
